Joey is currently filming 7/7 - Attack on London’, a documentary-drama about the recent London bombings. The project is being made by Mentorn Productions the same company behind the 9/11 film ‘The Hamburg Cell.’   AUGUST 05
Joey Collaborates to Write New Screenplay
Joey is currently writing a new film script with writer Vathani Nathan. The as yet untitled project is said to be a black comedy. Joey hopes to star in the forthcoming project. APRIL 05

Joey’s Coca-Cola commercial is yet again up for further awards.  APPE (The Association of Advertising Producers Spain) have nominated the advert in 4 categories including the main award for Best Spot. APRIL 05

Joey Jeetun’s Bollywood Coca-Coca ad beats Nicole Kidman’s Channel ad.
Joey’s Coca-Cola commercial created by the advertising agency McCann-Erickson has won the top award as the best cinema commercial. The gold award was given by AMPE (Association of Advertising Media of Spain. It beat Nicole Kidman’s Channel advert to win the prestigious prize. The commercial has also been nominated for a Zapping TV award. MARCH 05
Joey Plays Donald Sutherland's Aid.
The new post modern  film 'Land of the Blind' sees Joey play one of Thorne's Aides.  Thorne is played by Hollywood actor Donald Sutherland who overthrows the president to take over a fictitious world. FEBRUARY 05

    The now famous song from Joey’s Coca-Cola commercial has amazingly sold 2.600.000mobile       ringtones and it is still counting. This is alongside it being a huge hit in Europe. JANUARY 05

    Cannal + TV Features Puppet of Joey

A Cannal + show featured a 'Spitting Image style' puppet of Joey as the 'Del Pita Guru' character. The satirical show caricatured the now famous character from the Coca-Cola commercial. DECEMBER 04
Antena 3 TV Appearance Rescheduled
Joey's appearance on Spanish's Antena 3 is rescheduled for December 3. His live interview  will look at his career so far as well as promote his new website.  He will also perform the 'Del Pita' song. Part of the show will feature prerecorded footage which will be recorded earlier in the week in Madrid City. DECEMBER 04
Wall Street Journal Notes Commercial
The prestigious Wall Street Journal mentions the success of the The Guru Commercial. Cris Prystay discuses the impact Bollywood cinema has had in the western arts.
“ In Europe, Coca-Cola's Spanish unit in August released a major TV campaign for Coke, which ran in Spain, Italy and Portugal, that played on the Bollywood theme. That ad, which was created by Interpublic Group's McCann-Erickson Worldwide, featured a Hindu waiter who breaks up an uptight upper-class European house party after he drinks a Coke and breaks out in a Bollywood-style song, and gets everyone dancing along.

"Bollywood is cool," says Pasi Jarvenpaa, Nokia's Asian-Pacific director of marketing. "There's a growing buzz about Bollywood movies, celebrities and Indian-related themes that's been touched on even in Western productions," such as the recent hit movie "Bend It Like Beckham" and "Bombay Dreams," DECEMBER 04

 Joey completes his  scenes for a short film. He plays Kumar Kumar a trashy novelist with writers block. The project titled West One features up and  coming talent. NOVEMBER 04
Dick and Dom Show Appearance
A variety of characters  were played by Joey when he appeared on BBC's popular children's show, Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow. The two hour live British show  featured Joey as a devil, ghost and beetle.
Joey's appearance on BBC's Empire Warriors is broadcast. He plays a Yemen Soldier.  NOVEMBER 04
Charlie  and the Chocolate Factory Shoot
Joey had a few days  of filming on Tim Burton's remake of the children's classic. He played one of twelve Indian builders who construct an Indian palace out of chocolate. OCTOBER 04
Joey Cancels Magazine and TV Appearances
Due to scheduling clashes  Joey has had to cancel his live TV appearance on Spanish Antena 3. He also had to cancel an appearance at Interviu's magazine  party. However Joey will be appearing in Madrid around November for a series of press and TV interviews. OCTOBER 04

 Interviu' magazine  is released with an exclusive interview with Joey. Joey features  on the cover of Interviu'. The popular Spanish magazine flies a photographer from Madrid to London for the photoshoot. Joey  is to be interviewed by Spanish national television following the huge impact the commercial has made. Special Bollywood style posters are commissioned of Joey as the Hindu Waiter of Coca- Cola. The Famous slogan of 'Go where  your spirit leads you is used.' The billboards are displayed in the Island of Madeira. SEPTEMBER 04
Coca-Cola  Commercial Is a Huge Hit
 The Coca-Cola advert  is hugely successful, leading Coca-Cola to have its own unique website (www.Cocacola.es). Its popularity overwhelms everyone from the media to executives as  well as Joey himself. AUGUST 04
 Cameo appearances are made by Joey in several British television dramas, including Footballers Wives. Joey  also stars in several BBC documentaries. AUGUST 04
'Del Pita Pita Del' Is Broadcast
 Coca-Cola broadcasts  'Del Pita Pita Del' commercial on all channels in Spain, Italy  and Portugal. The song is released in Europe. The commercial becomes a huge hit, especially in the Spanish market. It is played in  both clubs/discotheques and stadiums. A special version of the commercial is broadcast on MTV.
