Joey Jeetun is a versatile actor from London, England.
His passion for the arts led him to be a member of the
Royal Court Young People’s Theatre where he performed
in various theatre projects. Having trained at the Brit
Performing Arts School, he then went on study a degree
in Media Performance (acting for camera).
Joey is a keen traveller and enjoys being enriched by
the different cultures of the world. But he feels more
at home on a film set: be it on a sound stage or on location.
Before landing the role of Ishmael in Brit flick Three
Minute Moments, Joey became the first Asian actor to be
the face of Coca-Cola in Europe. The awarding winning
‘Del Pita’ bollywood-inspired commercial brought Joey a
lot prominence. He has demonstrated a chameleon-like
nature having played comedic roles to more dramatic
roles like his character in 7/7 Attack on London. Life
imitated art when Joey was caught up in the real life
Mumbai attacks of 2008, having played a suicide bomber
in the 7/7 Attack drama. As a keen screenwriter Joey
has written many scripts and short films including Omar
and K. Writing is not new to Joey having spent a brief
spell as a celebrity journalist for various publications,
before embarking on his professional career as an actor.
